Dutch Treat

Pookie Pots HQ is quiet and contemplative in honor of the New Year. No cakes shall be made on this day.

Obviously, it is the right and proper time to indulge in some gaming, so the mister and I are going to get into some couch co-op action here, momentarily.

At this time, I would like to inform you I am utterly and completely taken with Dutch Treat. Until yesterday, I’d never heard of this strain. I smoke a wide range of strains. From the clear focus of Jack Herer and high social function/motivation of XJ-13, to the sleep-inducing Shark Shock, G13, and Bedrock, there are an abundance of strains that help me combat various needs. That said, there isn’t much out there that just gets me stoned.

Enter Dutch Treat. I took one hit from the water pipe and, especially given the quantity involved, this is probably the one of the most potently stony weeds I’ve smoked in a long time. I’m particularly noticing some slight auditory hallucinations. Perhaps “awareness” would be a more appropriate word. For instance, certain tones on the television sound — very convincingly — as if they’re coming from behind us, and I’m highly aware of omnipresent environmental sounds that are usually filtered out.

It also carries a nice, deep body high perfect for nap time. Cognitively speaking, I’m feeling a little slower than I generally prefer for an early afternoon smoke, but this muscle-relaxing tingle is pleasant and delicious, and I can already tell this is going to be an absolutely perfect strain for baking and bedtime, alike.

Happy 2016 to you and yours. Go find yourself some Dutch Treat post haste, and ring in the New Year righteously.
